The Mac will download new email and then disconnect from the Exchange server, when trying to send from Outlook for Mac, it will error and just sit in the outbox looping in an attempt to send.
We also have around 20 users who're using Outlook for Mac using a 365 ProPlus licence and they're not remaining connected to our exchange server. This cannot be a local index issue or local profile issue for 150+ users. Some items may not be included in your search results.'
